Meet Peggy

Peggy Duquesnel is an accomplished pianist, vocalist, composer and educator with more than 30 years of professional experience. She has released sixteen albums that have received critical acclaim in the jazz, pop and inspirational markets. She has performed and recorded with such notables as Henry Mancini, Pat Boone, Dionne Warwick, Alan Broadbent, Jeff Lorber, Jimmy Haslip and Ric Braun.

On “Summertime Lullaby,” a recent release from Peggy, the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter takes her listeners on a musical journey through the world of romance.

Subtitled “Jazz Standards and Love Songs”, the recording combines Peggy’s own wonderful compositions, including the lovely title track, with popular classics from the Great American Songbook.

The album is dedicated to her husband Mark and includes some of his favorite standards plus four original songs composed by Peggy.

  • Peggy is a vibrant member of the Southern California musical scene. Even in this vast talent pool, there are relatively few singer/pianists who perform and teach both skills at a high level. Peggy belongs in that club. She is a wonderful musician and person and is a valuable asset to the music community.
